'I can see how capitalist resistance is not only possible, but already a part of how I've been living my life. I can now dig into those practices, lifestyle choices, projects with full abandon, knowing that my role in creating the new world after capitalism is being fulfilled in the things I find most joy in. If you have a feeling you don't like capitalism, but you can't pinpoint or explain exactly why, join this program! It has brought me so much clarity and given me the language I was missing to explain why I'm interested in creating something beyond capitalism.
Anuradha and Moriah are amazing, caring, thoughtful facilitators who model what post-capitalistic living can look like.'

'My friend Anuradha Kowtha is an incredible teacher, with such a powerful offering: Sowing Post-Capitalist Seeds for Business. I've taken this course (actually a version of it) TWO TIMES because Anuradha takes her students against the grain of a deeply embedded culture.
[In the course] you will likely be in a cohort of people who will both challenge and link arms with you.
If you're a small business owner, or part of an organization that's attempting to conduct business ethically, PLEASE get yourself some support. It's so good, the guest speakers are so good, and the manner in which Anuradha holds the space is really remarkable - worth the price of admission.'
- Laura Halpin
'This course is super helpful if you are looking for a broad introduction to anti-capitalist thinking. The very structure of the course embodies the ideas they are promoting, and creates a safe space to fumble towards a new world together. This course is a journey through and beyond all the ways capitalism touches our lives, with fellow travelers who are committed to seeing the possibilities beyond it. I was impressed by the amount of trust that was able to be built over Zoom in our group.'
- Murphy Robinson
'For Sowing Post Capitalist Seeds, @AnuradhaKowtha + @moriahface have one of the most contextualized policies I've come across; it's really wonderful in how deeply they engage with all the complex layers that can impact access...& move beyond financial access into an evolving comprehensive access, inclusive of different learning styles, disabilities, and other needs. They also outline options for individuals taking the course vs business / professional dev. Who's paying matters.'
- Kate Strathman, Wanderwell Consulting
'Sowing post capitalist seeds with Anuradha Kowtha is an absolutely life-changing course and program, and I am so glad to be a part of it, to learn from Anuradha, the incredible guest speakers and community.
If you are an entrepreneur or professional or parent or just any human invested in healing internalized capitalism, moving ethically and, particularly if you're BIPOC, really prioritizing being ethical and kind to yourself in and outside of business, I couldn't recommend a program more. An instructor like Anuradha is a complete gem.
The course, the readings and discussions also deeply enrich my own professional work with burnout recovery coaching for professionals and entrepreneurs, with many clients being ND and/or chronically ill.
Most business related programs out there are woefully inadequate at covering the historical impact of capitalism and helping folks craft an individualized roadmap to healing, while also learning how to run their businesses ethically under capitalism.
If I am being honest, many folks (looking at you wheat ppl) don't know enough about the history of capitalism, antiblackness, anti-indigeniety and colonization to be teaching any kind of anti-capitalist business courses.
Sowing post capitalist seeds however is a game changer and can change your life in ways you'd never anticipated. It's helping me emerge from a cycle of chronic overworking and undercharging, something I've worked on with my own burnout recovery healing as a deeply marginalized person.
Oh and the guest speakers are phenomenal as well. So next time the course is offered, do not miss it. There is nearly nothing else like this program in the market that I've come across in the last couple of years. Also Anuradha has taken great care to make sure the course is accessible to folks with various access needs.
Truly an absolute pleasure to be a part of the course and community.'

'On 5 December, I am proud to have completed (and be a part of) the Fall 2021 “Sowing Post-Capitalist Seeds” programme facilitated (and created) by the awesome Anuradha Kowtha and Moriah Helms – a 14-week training programme understanding and unlearning capitalism – via @TheKowthaConstellation. It was a revolutionary experience.
As a Disabled AF, South Asian man, continual work-in-progress, I loved every single second of the 14-week exploration training together!
Through the 14-weeks, we achieved some great things, and together, learned incredible things:
I was crying throughout this training (and still am), both in grief and joy. As a result of SPCS, from now on, I will use the wisdom and skills learnt to have a transformative impact with my work (and my life) and build upon the magnificent network (who are now new friends) I became a part of.
I highly recommend this training too.
Keep up the great work! Here’s to more adventures together.'

'This course is phenomenal. I am honored I had the opportunity to participate in 2020. It made all the difference for me to be in such a space and study and learn and grow and discuss this very important work. This course is amazing and I am forever grateful to have experienced it. I strongly encourage others to apply and sign up. It helped me to understand more deeply what my body has felt all along. And learn new ways to consider moving forward in sowing post capitalist seeds.... The best time spent'
- Court McCracken
'The 14-week SPCS course was extraordinary. The resources and perspectives presented were unique, shapeshifting, much-required and not easily available.
The course has given me a sharper picture of capitalism, oppressive cultures and especially how they impact those with marginalized identities. These perspectives were particularly therapeutic for me.
The course not only helped me get a deeper understanding of anti-capitalist ways of living and working, but it also loosened some of my strongly held beliefs. I’m able to accept and hold alternative perspectives with much ease.
The sessions on relationship, body liberation and marriage in a capitalist society were eye-opening. Understanding mutual aid and co-ops were new and much-needed perspectives for me. They’ve helped shape my worldview and the way I’ll live and work.
The course has given me a pathway, tools and community to live in a way that’s aligned to my inner truth, in a world that makes little space for it. '

'I took this course from September to December of 2020. It was an amazing opportunity for growth, compassion, and a deeper understanding. I was originally drawn to the class because of Silvia Federici's book Caliban and the Witch: Women, The Body and Primitive Accumulation.
The course covered white supremacy, colonialism, capitalism, grief, trauma, building resiliency, finding your place, leverage points, moving frim theory to praxis, redesigning economics based on ecology, mutualism, relationships and power, ableism, fatphobia, body neutral, body liberation, land reparations and cultural easements, decolonizing wealth, and care work.
It was an essential experience for me. There was so much knowledge and information. I hope to return in the future. The class had amazing speakers who brought so much amazing knowledge to discuss.
I actually had a lot going on in my life and I felt supported and loved by everyone in the group. It really helped foster connections I needed. I believe we are facing a crisis like no other. It's an important time to connect and prepare for a post-capitalist society. It is obvious capitalism us bringing the world into a massive extinction event. '
- Valerie Hartshorn
'I am so glad Anuradha Kowtha and Moriah Helms continue to offer this course! I'll be taking it again in the Fall, there is so much there to dive into and I wasn't in the best place the first time around. It's an amazing course that will in some ways validate and in other ways challenge. It covers history and present day events - all within a container that acknowledges grief and the ways we can begin to divest from capitalist culture. The guest speakers are amazing too!!!
I invite you to come along with me and take the course. You won't regret it!'

'Sowing Post Capitalist Seeds utterly changed my relationship with capitalism and money. The seeds are still growing- but it shifted something deep inside me.'
- Meg Lightheart
'This course helped me understand and put words to many aspects of my lived experience. Very much a seeds passed on to me by these two gifted teachers and in many ways support me to keep tending this seed. And since then her tendrils have grown deeply in my existence and contributed to the depth of analysis of our world.'
- Estephanie Martinez
'It helped me to re-evaluate several sectors of my life. It's given me some energy to at least attempt to take on some of the more toxic qualities of the entertainment industry where I work on a social level. It has also realistically underscored to me that the duration of this work will probably be lifelong.
I appreciated the wonderful breadth of learning materials and guest presenters without an emphasis on academic trappings, testing or arbitrary success measurements.
I deeply appreciated the encouragement of participant contributions and the relative lack of hierarchy or success-oriented testing. I also appreciated the wide variety of learning materials without overemphasis on academic analysis. Additionally, I appreciated the pull towards global understandings rather than US-centrism, as well as a lot of globally Southern and indigenous perspectives that exist within this course. Anuradha and Moriah are fantastic co-facilitators, the guest speakers were wonderful and I appreciated the general approach towards knowledge-sharing.
A supportive cohort that normalizes expressions of grief and complex emotions as opposed to academic and emotional distance from the work. Also more shared power and horizontal power-sharing exists in this course than in other "coaching" courses of various varieties, and as such allows potential for the facilitators themselves to be better supported. This seems to be to be a reinforcement of a renewing rather than extractive model.'
'It was the most thought-provoking and challenging material I've had in my life since college. I think about feminism, racism, capitalism, appropriation, community resilience and oppression completely different now that I've taken this class. I love the dynamic between Anuradha and Moriah. They are great teachers, both challenging and kind.'
- Sarah Wineberg
This course has given me the foundational tools to move forward with anti-fascist, anti-capitalist and anti-racist work with a more acutely critical, structural and political lens. It was exactly the primer I needed. All of the information was laid out right in front of me. Everything was right there — the articles, the book recommendations, the live action dialogue and non-judgmental learning container.
'Sowing Post Capitalist Seeds was like Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”. We time traveled with the ghosts of capitalism’s past, present and future and saw the chilling threads. We also saw the threads of resistance and possibility. We had the opportunity to reflect and share along the way.'
- Katie Manaras
'The Sowing Post-Capitalist Seeds Course will ground you in your scattered thoughts on how to be a good human this day in time. Anuradha and Moriah are excellent guides and teachers, providing a curriculum and course structure that is both full of resources, recommendations, tools for learning, live calls, and exercises, while at the same time is a place of non-judgement, flexibility and community. They do not just lecture, but share life experiences and perspectives and invite us to share as well. The work is intense and worth the commitment as I know more now about capitalism, its roots and how I, as little me, can create change in my own life and business that can ripple out and be a benefit in this life-time without the urgency to save the world all by myself!'
- Miranda Wildman
'I wish I could have continued having Moriah and Anuradha as teachers forever. I’ve never encountered teachers that deliver such a complex and often heavy subject matter in such a manner that it created space and movement within me, rather than weighing me down. This is what teaching looks like outside of the cisheteropatriarchal, white supremacist, capitalist paradigm. I found the course healing and empowering and some months down the line, much of what I learned in the course has become an essential part of my personal practice of anti-capitalism.'
